BJs BBQ Pulled Pork Sandwich...

Went to BJ's Restaurant Brewhouse the other night and saw a new sandwich being offered...BJ's BBQ Pulled Pork Sandwich. Let me say...incredible. I order pulled pork sandwiches a lot of different places to see what they have to offer, this was like Drake "Best I Ever Had"..

The sandwich has an ordinary white bun topped with a delicious serving of sweet, savory pulled pork and crunchy onion straws. It also comes with a side of cole slaw and your choice of fries or onion straws. A side of extra BBQ sauce accompanies the dish in a square ramekin...

BOMB.

Rock n Jock Fitted Hats...

Do you love hats? These guys over at Rock n Jocks are fucking wild about hats. They mix up all the colors and logos and design some crazy ass hats. They released these three hats in September of 2009. Supplies are limited so if interested act fast.

Tim Tebow is the man. This Florida Marlins hat in the Florida Gators colors is so disgusting I threw up all over my keyboard when I saw it. Very nice.

Now we are looking at the Florida Marlins mixed with the Miami Hurricanes. I love the U. So many incredible football players out of there. I loved their bravado.

I also almost forgot to mention how classy that marlin looks on both of these hats. One time I saw that marlin out on the town cruising around in a sharp ass suit with a monocle on. He was riding in the back of a limo...not an SUV limo, more like a Lincoln Continental limo.

This is the Quebec Nordiques. A defunct NHL team. Pink and dark green? I hate it so much that I have turned my insides around and now I like it again.

Rock n Jocks is always dropping hot hats so please check out their blog frequently. Have a hat-tastic day!!

Kang and Kodos from the Simpsons...

My favorite Simpsons episodes are the Treehouse of Horror ones. Some of these episodes are extremely disturbing and I think that's why I like them.

Matt Groening designed these 6-inch figures based on Kang and Kodos from those episodes. They are always trying to eat Earthlings if you didn't know. Pick them up here.

The wild thing about this is that you don't know who you are going to get when you buy these. It's a mystery... Kodos with the raygun or Kang with the cookbook. Pick them up at Kidrobot.com.

Any TV show that can last 450 episodes has to be pretty good. Continue to support the arts and watch the Simpsons!!

Creature Skateboards

Creature skateboarding is a company that has caught my eye. They have a cool style. Check out their website here.

I love tuxedo t-shirts and skeleton t-shirts. Combine them both and you got a hit.

Rolling Stones logo with a ghoulish twist.

This is their main logo/ font. Frankenstein-ish.

Pizza is good, but this pizza is straight scary. Dripping cheese like that. What are you doing?

From the website, "Getting you to the grave at a deadly pace!" This fucking board is bad ass. I could picture the Monster Squad, the Goonies, Eddie from the Munsters, and myself skateboarding around the city on Halloween raising hell and snatching candy bags on these boards. Get the fuck out of my way!

Neff Headwear and Tees...

NEFF! Just say it... NEFF! It's fun to say and fun to wear. I have been watching this clothing brand really blow up here in Southern California over the past few years and have become a real fan. I love the smiley face with the tongue out logo.

I mean, we're looking at break dancers with a ghetto blaster here. How could this be bad?

This hat is incredible. Would I wear it? Not today. But if I was 25 years old in 1986 and I had a mullet and loved to BMX, then I would rock the shit out of this on the daily.

Are you cold? Then be Hulk Hogan...

Or Mr. T...

The story goes....from the website, "NEFF was started by Shaun Neff, in Southern California during the year 2002... Originally starting out as a clothing company Neff made a couple shirts and hats and the adventure began. Shaun HUSTLED the product out of his car buying 99 cent headbands marking Neff on them with paint pens then giving them to friends as the Neff vibe began."

I love the hustle this guy embodies. Check out his website here.

Angry Woebots. Army of Snipers. Artwork...

The guys over at Contrast Magazine turned me onto this artist who paints these incredible portraits of Killer Pandas. Pandas are usually portrayed as sweet and cuddly, but the twist Aaron Martin puts on this animal really blows the mind. Aaron Martin works out of Hawaii and has really blown up on the art scene in the Islands, and all across the globe. Check out his blog here.

He works with a a crew of artists named the Army of Snipers. His images of the pandas really catch my eye and I love looking at all the different styles of panda this dude creates. Pick up Contrast Magazine Number 00 to read the interview and article on this incredible artist. He seems like a real down to earth cat.

Pick up some of his pieces at his blog. Most of the stuff isn't incredibly expensive and I'm guessing he will be blowing up even more sooner rather than later.

Now where's the bamboo at?

Proud to be an American...

Major League Baseball teams who play on National holidays like Memorial Day or 4th of July wear special hats on those special occasions. A portion of the proceeds that New Era receives go to Welcome Back Veterans.org, a foundation to help out returning military soldiers.

There are only two versions of these hats, the red in 2009 and the blue in 2008. These are some of my favorite combinations...

The Dodgers are Vin Scully, Tommy Lasorda, Fernando-mania, Kirk Gibson and of course Farmer John's Dodger Dogs.... I mean the Dodgers are classic. And I didn't even mention Jackie Robinson, although he never played in LA.

Yankees = America. All the greats have played here.

What about the Capital, Washington DC? These are the Senators, and yes, that's a baseball team now, and yes, they suck.

This cap gives you an idea of what the inside of the letter looks like. I'm personally not crazy about this Rangers hat, but I did want to see what the stars & stripes design looked like a little bit better.

There is just something I like about that Royals lettering. The team is eternally sorry, but that KC is nice. Maybe it's just a reminder of the Bo Jackson days, I'm not sure, but I like it.

What about the Canadians? They can participate in the fun as well...

Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim hats...

The Angels are my local team. I grew up right down the street from Anaheim Stadium and have seen them through their best and worst seasons. This post has nothing to do with their ability on the field... it has to do with how their hat looked.

The Angels have had basically five different hat designs. Let me know if you disagree with the rankings.

#5. This piece of shit right here. This hat came about when Disney bought the team. Disney can do a lot of things great, but running a baseball team isn't one of them. These were the dark days of being an Angels fan. They looked so bad that they had to play bad. It wouldn't have made sense for them to play good when sporting these caps.

#4. When I saw this hat I started to get worried about their name slowly changing. The Big A that I was raised on could have either stood for Anaheim or Angels. So when they threw that C in there I was concerned about them moving or changing their name. Looks like I was right.

#3. Small a style. Cute little halo tilted to the front. This is like an elementary school design. Some Tee Ball maybe or Little League. The big boys wear capital letters. I love that two-tone blue cap with the red bill.

#2. The new school. We recaptured some of the glory of the greatest hat, but that red is kind of bright for me. It's a bright red, not a blood red. I love that Big A on there. It's our landmark, love it or hate it.

#1. The best one of all. It has all the elements I like. The capital A. The two tone hat with the red and the blue. For some reason it immediately reminds me of Wally Joyner. Take a nice long look at it and tell me I'm wrong. Sorry I couldn't find a better picture, but this is going to have to do... Which is your favorite?

Mike Tyson's Punch Out!! Action Figures...

I used to love the journey Mike Tyson's Punch-Out!! took you on. You would start off with Glass Joe and just beat his ass. We all need a Glass Joe sometimes. Then Von Kaiser. You can say something derogatory about Germans when you fight him. Then Piston Honda, an Asian reference. Don Flamenco... I used to always think he was a homosexual.

Next up was King Hippo. He was cool. I would sometimes let him knock me down a few times just to show my respect.

From there you would fight every race and religion all the way up to Iron Mike. What a great game.

These figures are one of a kind and not for sale. They were made by an artist named Fugazi. Check out his story and explanation here.

I also spotted this T-shirt made by a company named DGK. They also have a line of shirts that says, "I (heart) haters!" Great message. Peep the shirt here.

Frank Kozik's Monger Toys

This guy Frank Kozik does some awesome artwork with little toys smoking cigarettes. He calls them Mongers. Not exactly a great message to send to kids, but I am sure they are intended for adults. I tried to find some website for this guy, but all I could really find on him is his myspace. Check it out here.

I love grenades.

Pick up Sarge here.
