Yesterday was a glorious day to be at the mountains in Southern California. Below is a picture of the East Resort at Mountain High in Wrightwood, California.
Here is the sun bursting through at the West resort.
This is the view we all love to see. On top of the world.
We stayed at the mountain for awhile. Long enough to see the sun start to set.
My camera calls the shot taken below "posterize."
Thermal setting. Feel the sun set to the right.
Check out Mountain High. The people there will treat you fine.
Mona Lisa. Mount Everest. The Declaration of Independence. Tecmo Bowl. What do these all have in common? Nothing.
Tecmo Bowl was the hottest football video game before Madden really took over. Talk to some people about Tecmo Bowl and they light up. Life comes back into their eyes as they reminisce over a simpler, more care free time.
Keep an eye out for weekly posts featuring favorite Tecmo players, teams and plays. Got a suggestion?

Check out this guy's blog post in the meantime. He had a hell of a time controlling the Lions.
Mondays need music. Take the time to listen to some jams. Suggest a few for us in the comments section. Enjoy the ride.
This Hall and Oates "I Can't Go For That" is so delightful. A massage for the eardrums some might say. This is what music sounds like. If you were deaf and you just got your hearing, I might play this song for you. I might.
First post has to be Randall Cunningham aka QB Eagles.
Look at this guy sling that puppy. A real work of beauty.
And check out that hair do. First class all the way. He played at UNLV for fuck's sake. Before Larry Johnson and Jerry Tarkanian put the Runnin' Rebels on the map.
Randall did it all on the Eagles. Scrambled it. Ran it. Chucked it. You couldn't kick or return kicks with him in the game, but he gave you a chance to win every time he took that Shotgun snap.
So the first post is to you, QB Eagles. Thank you for playing the game the way you did.
