Tecmo Bowl x QB Eagles

First post has to be Randall Cunningham aka QB Eagles.

Look at this guy sling that puppy.  A real work of beauty.

And check out that hair do. First class all the way.  He played at UNLV for fuck's sake.  Before Larry Johnson and Jerry Tarkanian put the Runnin' Rebels on the map.
Randall did it all on the Eagles. Scrambled it.  Ran it. Chucked it.  You couldn't kick or return kicks with him in the game, but he gave you a chance to win every time he took that Shotgun snap.

So the first post is to you, QB Eagles.  Thank you for playing the game the way you did.

Vintage Santa Cruz Skateboard Posters

I have been holding onto these skateboard posters from Santa Cruz for years. My dad picked them up in a skate shop a long time ago and had been holding onto them since I was a little one. I finally have a garage to hang them up in.
I love the Slimeballs colors and logo. In case you don't know, Slimeballs from Santa Cruz were skateboard wheels back in the 80's. The 80's are back in a big way, but for some of us, they never left.
Also loving this OJ2 poster. Back then, you couldn't go wrong with neon colors. Does this have anything to do with OJ Simpson? Nope. Just another wheel company from the good old days of skateboarding. Have you seen Animal Chin?
Keep skateboarding alive. Don't forget your roots.

Manny Ramirez

I am not a huge Manny Ramirez fan. However, I did read this article in GQ magazine about seven years back that made me love Man Ram. I recently rediscovered this article and could not stop laughing.

Look at these pictures. Take some time to read the article. Then go back. You might see Manny a little different.

I also love the fact that the "Manny being Manny" excuse can basically get this guy out of any situation.
